Query Builder Tool
Before you begin: Users of CONTENTdm Version 3.5 or greater should use the newest tool for creating queries into your collection, Custom Queries and Results (CQR). Collections created using the Query Builder Tool are not compatible with CQR without upgrading. Users running CONTENTdm Version 3.5 or greater who have collections that were created using the Query Builder Tool can continue using the Query Builder Tool or update existing collections to take advantage of new functionality in Custom Queries and Results. For information on updating an existing collection, see the Web Template Update PDF. CONTENTdm Query Builder Tool enables you to integrate CONTENTdm queries into Web pages. This allows you to design custom search interfaces for your CONTENTdm collections through a standard Web interface. To use the Query Builder you should already be familiar with creating HTML pages using an HTML editor.
