The newest tool for creating queries into your collections, Custom Queries and Results, (available with CONTENTdm 3.5) replaces the existing Query Builder Tool. If you have installed CONTENTdm Version 3.5 or later, you should use Custom Queries and Results to create queries and configure results for new collections.

Users running CONTENTdm Version 3.4 or earlier must use the Query Builder Tool to create queries for collections. The Query Builder will continue to be supported but will no longer be enhanced.

Users running CONTENTdm Version 3.5 or 3.6 who have collections that were created using the Query Builder Tool can continue using the Query Builder Tool or update existing collections to take advantage of new functionality in Custom Queries and Results.
