Compound objects must be uploaded to the pending queue for approval by the Collection Administrator. Once approved, the Collection or System Administrator must add the items to the collection and build the text index before the new compound objects will appear in the collection database.

1. Click Upload from the Compound Object Creator toolbar.

2. Confirm that you want to upload the item by clicking Yes.

   

3. The compound object will be sent to the server and added to the pending queue. A confirmation message is displayed.

Version 3.6 users who create compound objects using the Batch Add wizard and who require manual upload should see Manually Uploading Compound Objects. Use manual upload when security or network constraints prohibit the use of CONTENTdm's standard automated upload process. Files can be uploaded using CD-ROM or secure FTP.
