Changing Collection Positions in Catalog
This link will be displayed only if you have server administration access rights. Use this feature to change the order of collection names displayed on the Advanced Search page and the browse dropdown list of the HTML client. By default collection names are displayed in the order that they are created on the server. 
Collections listed on the Advanced Search page
Collections listed in the browse dropdown list Click Change the position of this collection in the list to change the order in which the collection names are displayed.
