Create a New Project
  1. Select New Project from the Start-up screen, File menu, or click on the New Project icon in the toolbar. The New Project Wizard will open. Note: To permanently stop the Start-up window from appearing, uncheck Show this at Start-up in the Start-up window.

  2. Follow the steps in the Wizard to create a new project. Begin by naming your project. The name can contain up to 128 letters, numbers and spaces. Only alphanumeric characters may be used. Click Next.

  3. Enter the server URL. Click Next.

  4. Choose a collection. When you upload items from your project, they will always go to the specified collection's pending queue to await approval by the Collection Administrator. Click Next.

  5. Enter your user name and password in the login screen. Click the check box next to Remember user name and password to bypass entering your user name and password for this project in the future.

  6. If the collection you select to upload your items to supports full-resolution image archiving (this must be established by the Collection Administrator) you will be prompted for more information.

  8. After completing the steps to create a new project, a Project Spreadsheet will open at the bottom of the screen. You can begin adding items to the project.

    Click Acquire image from TWAIN button Acquire to import an image from your TWAIN source (scanner, digital camera, etc).

    Click Import file button Import file to import a single file.

    Click Batch add button Batch Add to import multiple related items (pages of a book) or a batch of individual items.

    Click Import URL  button Import URL to import a URL.

A project will remain available for future use until it is deleted.

To delete a project:

  1. The project you intend to delete must be closed. From the File menu, select Delete a Project.

  2. From the list of projects, click the name of the project to delete.

  3. Click OK. The project will be deleted.
