The Acquisition Station is where you will create and work with projects by importing images and transcripts and adding metadata.

From the Acquisition Station items can be uploaded to the pending queue only (never directly to a collection) where they will be reviewed by a Collection Administrator. After the Collection Administrator reviews and edits the items, they may be added to a collection.

To begin using the Acquisition Station you must first either:

1. Create a New Project
2. Open an Existing Project
3. Copy Project Settings

Tip: To save project set-up time, project settings from existing projects can be copied or imported to your Acquisition Station or exported and saved for other users to import into their own Acquisition Stations. See Copying Project Settings.
