Importing Full Resolution Files
Using the JPEG2000 Acquisition Station, JPEG2000 display images can be generated when you import full resolution TIFF or JPEG files. (As always, be sure that full resolution is enabled.)
To import full resolution files and generate JPEG2000 display images:
Click Batch Add.
Select the desired import option. Click Next.

Note: When importing tab–delimited text and full resolution files, JPEG2000 settings must be established outside of the Batch Add wizard before importing the files. To do this:
Click the Tools menu and select Image Optimization.
From the Image Optimization dialog, click Options.
Click the File Format tab and select JPEG2000 from the File Type pull down list.
Specify any other JPEG2000 settings. Click OK to close the Image Options dialog box.
Click Save in the Image Optimization dialog box to retain your settings and close the dialog.
Begin importing the files and tab delimited text as usual by clicking Batch Add.
Click Browse to locate the directory that contains your files. Double-click on the directory name (files within the directory must be displayed in the right pane of the browse dialog box). Click OK. Click Next.
Select Yes to indicate the files are full-resolution files. Select Auto generate display copies. Click Advanced.

The Image Optimization dialog opens and you can specify your JPEG2000 settings. Click Options to open the Image Options dialog.

From the File Type pull down list, select JPEG2000. Specify any other JPEG2000 settings desired. Click OK to close the Image Optimization dialog.

Note: Image Rights; Image Processing; and Display Settings are not applied to JPEG2000 images. Copyrighting and image processing should be applied before importing images into CONTENTdm. JPEG2000 display images are the same pixel dimensions as the source images and resolution levels are derived from the source image.
Complete the Batch Add process as usual.
